As NUST thrusts forward with the Heritage Education 5.0 philosophy, whose five pillars include community engagement, we are proud to have been part of the hashtag#ChiefDakamelaAwards festivities in Nkayi, Matabeleland North, this weekend.

Our recruitment team engaged with potential students, showcasing our various programs and receiving overwhelming support from the community and Chief Dakamela himself who, together with other dignitaries, visited our stand.

The Chief Dakamela Awards ceremony, now in its third edition, aims to recognize and appreciate outstanding individuals contributing to the community's development. This year's event was a huge success, attracting over 2,000 attendees, including cultural leaders, Development practitioners, corporates, politicians and arts enthusiasts. The awards promote development and awareness of projects in the region, fostering a culture of excellence and community spirit.

NUST had a fantastic time participating in this epic event and we look forward to future collaborations with the Dakamela community of Nkayi.
