NUST's Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences is currently hosting an engaging business seminar for final year students in the Department of Banking and Economic Sciences. The seminar aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world success, targeting final-year university students. Its purpose is to ensure that graduates not only secure employment aligned to their fields of study but also excel professionally and personally whilst making an impact in their communities and society as a whole.
Graduates continuously face challenges in securing employment aligned with their fields of study, leaving them disillusioned and frustrated as they remain in low-ranking positions and entry-level jobs, which have limited income prospects. While some may ascend the corporate ladder and achieve financial stability, even more are struggling to create a meaningful impact
in their communities or to grow beyond their traditional roles.
This seminar seeks to redefine the trajectory of graduates, molding them into well-rounded individuals who are adaptable, resilient, and successful in any sphere they may venture into. The seminar embraces the concept of Heritage Education 5.0, fostering a generation of graduates who can excel using their unique talents, make transformative impacts in the business world, and contribute significantly to their communities.
