Research
Evaluation of emerging pollutants in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems using bioindicator species and molecular/physiological biomarkers, with emphasis on their implications for human, animal, and environmental health.
Detection and quantification of pollutants such as heavy metals, pharmaceutical residues, and other contaminants across environmental matrices, linking exposure pathways to risks for food safety, public health, and ecosystem integrity.
