The Faculty of Business & Economic Sciences

Welcome to the Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences, one of the founding faculties of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and a cornerstone of our institution since 1991. Our Faculty brings together eight dynamic academic units: Accounting Sciences, Banking and Economic Sciences, Business Management Sciences, Finance and Fiscal Sciences, Actuarial, Insurance and Risk Management Sciences, Marketing and Consumer Sciences, the Graduate School of Business Sciences (GSBS), and the Institute of Development Sciences (IDS). Together, these departments form a vibrant academic ecosystem offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that combine academic rigour, practical relevance, and innovative delivery. Our graduates are recognised locally, regionally, and internationally for their critical thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, innovation, collaboration, communication, adaptability, and social responsibility.
