Biography

Mr. Gabaza Sibanda is a dynamic academic, financial literacy advocate, and humanitarian leader with a burgeoning career dedicated to the intersection of economics, technology, and sustainable development. Currently a Lecturer in the department of Banking and economic sciences under Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Zimbabwe, with major in Micro and Macroeconomics.  Beyond the lectureship, Mr. Sibanda is a recognized Humanitarian Youth Leader and policy advocate for policies that affect young people. His work transcends traditional academia, focusing on the practical application of economic principles to improve lives. He is Actively involved in humanitarian policy development, grant application, and the seamless implementation of high-impact programs. Also, a committed Career Guidance and Counseling Mentor, and Financial Literacy Coach, bridging the gap between complex economic concepts and everyday financial empowerment.

• BCom in Banking and investments management
• Special honors degree in monitoring and evaluation

Financial economics, financial literacy, SMEs development, Artificial Intelligence in the financial sector, climate finance, and climate smart agriculture
