FSTE 2024 Conference

Amidst the increasing environmental difficulties, socio-economic inequities, and the pressing demand for sustainable development, education plays a crucial role in promoting a more sustainable future. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) provides individuals with the necessary information, skills, values, and attitudes to actively participate to the promotion of sustainable development. Nevertheless, conventional teaching methods frequently fail to adequately tackle the intricacy and immediacy of sustainability concerns. It is crucial to investigate new methods and upcoming developments in ESD that have the potential to revolutionise educational practices and results. Education is essential in moulding a sustainable future. Nevertheless, conventional educational methods frequently fall short in effectively tackling the many obstacles of sustainable growth. There is an increasing demand to investigate new teaching methods, utilise developing technology, and encourage cooperation across different fields of study in order to equip learners with the necessary information, skills, and attitudes to construct a more sustainable society.

The purpose of this conference is to convene educators, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, learners, and stakeholders from many sectors in order to engage in discussions and exchange knowledge on new practices and emerging trends in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). The event will function as a forum for the sharing of information, cooperation, and the creation of practical solutions to improve the worldwide efficacy of ESD. The conference will also focus on investigating novel methodologies and emerging patterns in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). ESD promotes the acquisition of information, skills, values, and attitudes necessary for individuals to make meaningful contributions towards a more sustainable environment. It is acknowledged as a crucial component of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) on excellent education and a fundamental facilitator of all the remaining SDGs.
