Purpose of engagement
To raise awareness on responsible consumption, worked with the
sewing department to produce play materials for the pediatric
ward using pre-consumer textile waste
2. Project name – Waste to Wellness
Site - Gerontological Home
Purpose of engagement
To improve the senior citizen’s manipulation dexterity worked
with physiotherapists and the seniors to repurpose textile waste
to produce woolen socks, hats and doorstoppers for the inmates
3. Project name - The Stone That The Builder Rejected
Site for learning - Children’s Home
Purpose of engagement
To promote sustainability issues in textiles, worked with hostel
mothers to repurpose old sheets using natural dyes and produced
curtains and duvet covers for one housing unit
