Tanatswa Tahwa

Tutorial Assistant

Tanatswa is a Civil and Water Engineering graduate with a solid academic foundation and practical exposure in infrastructure development. She is also a Tutorial Assistant, who has supported teaching and assessment in water quality and treatment, fluid mechanics, geomechanics, geology, and geotechnical engineering. Through this role, she has developed the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly while contributing to multidisciplinary academic and project environments. She is committed to advancing sustainable and resilient infrastructure through applied research, technical problem-solving, and continuous professional development.

  • Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in Civil and Water Engineering (NUST)

Research Interests

  • Geotechnical site investigation and in-situ testing methods
  • Water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Construction on problematic soils (collapsible, dispersive, organic soils)
