NUST Climate Education and Project Isigcino Launch
At the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Project Isigcino hosted a climate education forum that brought together students to engage in meaningful discussions on the impacts of climate change and the critical role of young people in addressing this global challenge. The forum created a safe and open space for young minds to think beyond conventional boundaries, encouraging innovative thinking and collective responsibility in seeking sustainable solutions.
Later in November, Project Isigcino officially launched at NUST during an event graced by the Vice-Chancellor, who commended BlueHorizon NUST for their exceptional initiative and for thinking beyond their roles as prospective civil engineers. The launch marked an important milestone for the project, reinforcing the power of youth-led action and interdisciplinary thinking in driving climate resilience and positive environmental change.
