The Digital Skills Licence is an IT literacy qualification designed to enable people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. The course aims to increase your knowledge and confidence in IT, as it covers the key concepts of computing, their practical application and use in the workplace and society in general.
Its aims are:
• to raise the general level of competency in IT;
• to improve productivity at work;
• to enable employers to invest more efficiently in IT; and
• to ensure that best practice and quality issues are understood and implemented.
Entry Requirements: No experience necessary, we require just your interest and desire to learn.
Duration: 7 Weeks, with daily Monday to Friday classes and the option to study either in the morning (8:30- 11), afternoon (2-4), evening (5-7) or weekends (Saturday – 8:30am – 4pm)

Assessment: Hands on lab activities are an essential element of this course. Students are expected to pass both practical and written exams.
Certification: Qualifying students shall be certified by NUST-CCE and shall receive Certificates of Proficiency, Completion or Attendance depending on pass mark.
