The 2nd NUST annual Careers Fair, is a pivotal event that bridges the gap between academic pursuits and professional pathways and is billed to take place from the 13th to the 15th of May 2025.
Planned in alignment with Zimbabwe's Heritage Education 5.0 and in partnership with the Provincial Office of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, this fair aims to ignite passion and curiosity among students, particularly in the realms of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions (4IR/5IR).
Moreover, the fair seeks to guide students in shaping their career choices towards achieving the country's Vision 2030 and National Development Strategies, which emphasize the utilization of local resources for local development, innovation, and industrialization. By showcasing a diverse array of degree programmes and related career choices, the fair aims to empower students with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to contribute meaningfully to Zimbabwe's socio-economic growth and development, while fostering a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and self-sufficiency.
