Meet the
Executive Dean
Wilfred Njabulo Nunu is the Executive Dean and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Environmental Science. He is also a member of the Zimbabwe Environmental Health Practitioners Association. He has published numerous articles on Health Systems and Policies, Natural Resources Utilisation, Adolescent Sexual Health and some addressing the broader scope of Public Health and Doctoral Education. Prof Nunu is currently working on a project that explores traditional medicine utilisation by women during pregnancy and seeks to develop strategies to facilitate doctorateness in PhD theses in poor resource settings. Prof Nunu possesses an earned PhD in Public Health from the University of Venda, A Master in Public Health specialising in Health Systems and Policies from the University of Witwatersrand, a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Environmental Science and Health both from the National University of Science and Technology and a Certificate in Occupational Safety and Environmental Management Course (OSHEMAC) from the National Social Security Authority.
