Master of Engineering Degree (Part Time: Evening, Weekend Day Time School – 24 months) HARARE COHORT Evening and Weekend and Day Time School

(a)  Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Systems and Operations Management

(b)  Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management

Candidates must indicate which option (a) or (b) they are applying for.

This programme takes a minimum of 24 months to complete and is offered in 10 weeks (Two successive weekends – day time classes and the week evenings between the weekends in a month per course) for the taught component of three semesters and a dissertation in the last semester.

 Entry Requirements

  1. The normal entry requirements is a Bachelor’s Honours degree at the level of at least a Lower Second Division (2.2) in Industrial, Manufacturing, Production, or Mechanical , Mechatronics, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics and Fibre and Polymer Materials Engineering.
  2. In some cases, qualifications deemed to be equivalent to the Honours award are accepted.
  3. Preference will be given to candidates who have at least two years industrial experience.
  4. Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed.

               

Expected commencement date for the Harare Cohort is 14 July 2018.

A non-refundable application fee of US$20, in cash, must accompany the Application Form.
