LECTURESHIP/SENIOR LECTURESHIP/ASSOCIATE PROFESSORSHIP (1 POST)

Department of Chemical Engineering – Faculty of Industrial Technology 

The department seeks an enthusiastic, high-quality candidate for lectureship in Chemical Engineering. Applicants must have a BEng or BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering and hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering/Process Engineering.  Evidence of scholarly contribution is required in the form of at least two (2) peer-reviewed journal articles. The incumbent will be expected to undertake teaching in both the undergraduate and Masters Programmes.  He/She is also expected to have strong research skills which will enhance and complement the department’s existing research strength.  While all areas of chemical engineering research will be considered with a preference for candidates whose research is in the areas of minerals processing.

LECTURESHIP/SENIOR LECTURESHIP/ASSOCIATE PROFESSORSHIP (2 POSTS)

Department of Electronic Engineering – Faculty of Industrial Technology 

Applicants must be holders of at least a Masters Degree in any of the following areas of specialization: Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Systems and Telecommunications.  Possession of a PhD would be an added advantage.  Successful applicants must be able to teach at least two courses offered by the Department and supervise both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
