At the Department of Technical and Engineering Education and Training (TEET) we endeavour to foster academic and career growth. The department strives to provide students with a well-rounded experience that includes solid academic preparation, exposure to professionals in the teaching and learning sector. Our Bachelor of Technology degree is designed to offer professional education to qualified Diploma holders who are in the teaching career. The Department of Engineering currently hosts five disciplines: in the field of Civil and construction Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Wood Science Technology and Technical Graphics. The program emphasizes the learning of the concepts and practices of Engineering along with the development of analytical skills in areas of education. The program constitutes of block release and convectional programme. The department also offers a Post Graduate Diploma Higher Education. (PGDHE). Students are taught to be independent thinkers, create independent types of work, perform high-tech projects, write technical reports, perform research on cutting-edge technology, and present their work before classmates and faculty members.
It is our pleasure to serve you!
